It occupies a group of scientists- volunteers and is coordinated by experienced scientists.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff6600;\">AENAO aims to:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promote health by creating networks and implementing projects based on non-formal education and learning by experience methodology.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inform the community on issues regarding science in the broad sense, culture, religion and education.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Undertake national and international collaboration with reliable agents, in order to exchange experience and best practices.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Design programs that encourage social cohesion, protect the human rights and respect the environment.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Empower women to take initiatives and improve their socio-economic status.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Empower young people, enhance and build their personal skills.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inform society on innovative programs and activities. <\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organize campaigns and initiatives that benefit the society.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff6600;\">AENAO\u2019s educational material in the field of health promotion (project \u201cAddicted to life\u201d dealing with smoking prevention) won the first award and has been recommended for the school curriculum.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff6600;\">Additionally the projects \u201cCaptain Cook\u201d dealing with healthy lifestyle and \u201cCrash test revised\u201d, dealing with conflict management became \u201cbest practices\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #ff6600;\">AENAO is an active member of \u201cHealthy Network\u201d \u201cORESTIS\u201d and Anna Lindh foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AENAO has great experience in local, national and international projects. The topics are explored by learning by doing methodology and non formal education. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2008 AENAO, in a pilot project, introduced non formal education in the university settings.
