A brand new Erasmus+ KA2 project ME-YOU-US (My Europe \u2013 YOUr Europe \u2013 yoUr Say) begins now its 3 year journey to teach students to be more open-minded, tolerant and empathic.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/aenao.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/1-e1545059671745-768x1024.jpg?resize=223%2C297&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"297\" \/>The project is coordinated by the Bulgarian foundation Prosveta-Sofia, and involves 8 partners: AENAO- Center of non-formal education (Greece), Polytechnic Institute of Santar\u00e9m (Portugal), University of Social Sciences (Poland), Foundation Altius Francisco De Vitoria (Spain), School Inspectorate of Dolj county (Romania), 17 Secondary school &#8220;Damian Gruev&#8221; (Bulgaria), 54th School of Sofia (Bulgaria), \u201cBratya Miladinovi\u201d Primary school (Bulgaria) and 1 associated partner: CEIP \u201cFelix Cuadrado Lomas\u201d, Cisterniga (Spain). Schooling could play a key role in developing positive behaviors towards human differences. The project aims to support students in pre- adolescent and adolescent age (12-15 years old) to be open-minded, to understand and value diversity, to know and respect human rights and to be actively involved in community life. To do so, teachers will be supported with training tools, including a manual that will collect non-formal activities and digital resources to educate students to diversity, human rights, intercultural dialogue and active citizenship.<\/figure>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p>In Bulgaria, Greece and Portugal eighty teachers per country will be trained in the two forthcoming academic years using the updated Teacher\u2019s Manual in order to transfer these resources in their classes during the academic periods 2019-2021. In Spain, Romania and Poland 16 teachers per country will be trained as described above.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p>The first project meeting (KOM) was held at 7 December 2018 in Sofia-Bulgaria, in order to give the official start to the project, to establish together some organizational and methodological aspects and to agree on the next steps.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p>In the coming months the manual will be updated so that the teachers will start their trainings in October 2019.
