The 8th International event of ACT Stronger project was celebrated in Berlin, Germany (16-18/05/2024). Less than 1 month prior to EU Parliament elections 2024, Young and older people participation in the democratic life was the topic of this meeting. Participants from the 8 partner countries joined in Europe Direct and learned about the German citizens mobilisation in regards to the elections by Europe Direct staff. The discussion continued with project partners prespectives and presentation about the buring issue of elections, voting and democracy in their own countries.
The fruitful meeting on the topic of participation on the democratic life continued with visits to the German Parliament and the House of Europe in Berlin.
